Seems Ontario has awoken and thrown Doug Ford to the curb, but is his little playmate buddy Mark Carney in play for being in bed with Ford? Expect both to enter the bus toss!

@carolesz55 @yonkojohn If the allegations are true, it speaks to his character and mental status and hammers home what many of us have said from the beginning… he is a man-child who had no business being PM. Modern liberalism represents and defends the worst traits in humans.

Had Pierre been the one accessing child porn rather than Justin Trudeau the action/reaction would have been 100% different. How the left sets the table! CBC has yet to fact check this!

I’m an average Canadian. For 11 years under this Liberal government my standard of living has fallen. Not in a spreadsheet. In real life. My dollars buy less every month. Housing is a fantasy for my kids. Groceries hurt. Food banks are full of working people. Good full-time jobs feel harder to find. The dollar keeps sliding. Investment has fled by a trillion dollars. Companies are saying they can’t expand or even stay. They call it “strong.” They call it “resilient.” They announce another committee, another photo-op, another trip to Europe. Meanwhile they shut down scrutiny, hide the details of deals, and keep spending money we don’t have. They have a majority. They can do whatever they want. And what they choose is more of the same — more regulations that choke the energy sector that actually pays the bills, more opacity, more gaslighting, and zero admission that their own policies are the problem. Canada sits on some of the richest resources on earth. We should be thriving. Instead we are being governed by people who seem determined to dismantle what used to work while refusing to tell us their real agenda. We are not “strong.” We are stagnating. Many of us are already in a personal recession. And the cliff edge is getting closer. How long before we fall? As long as this government refuses to reverse course, admit failure, or put working Canadians ahead of their ideology and their overseas speeches, the answer is: not long enough. They will never fix what they will not even acknowledge is broken. And right now they are ramping up, not backing down. I’m seriously worried about the viability of this country. Not because Canada lacks potential. But because the people running it no longer seem to care about the people living in it. Enough. #CanadaDeservesBetter

I have news for you dopes. If Donald Trump dropped all tariffs on imported goods from Canada our economy wouldn’t suddenly take off. The tariffs aren’t the problem.

I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it. I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for. My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.

Canadian youth don’t want foreign workers’ jobs, says a CFIB survey.🇨🇦
wealthmoose@wealthmoose

Calgary, #Alberta 🇨🇦 Foreign students are now declaring a hunger strike to demand Canadian work permits. That is not how immigration policy should be decided. A study permit is not a guaranteed pathway to permanent residence or employment. Rules must be clear, consistent and applied equally..not rewritten under pressure.

@MPelletierCIO @McLeanChronicle I'll be honest, I had no idea what M2 was until I looked it up… now that I understand it, it's crystal clear why we have an affordability problem, but what is mind-boggling is that Carney is doing the exact opposite of what needs to be done to correct it. So is it on purpose?

This is what the Liberal Party and the Bank of Canada did to the country. Canada’s M2 money supply has grown +368% since January 2004, by far, the largest increase among G7 economies. (Mark Carney served as the eighth governor of the Bank of Canada from February 1, 2008, to June 1, 2013). By comparison, the Canadian economy has expanded only +159% over the same period. Meanwhile Canada’s population has grown by roughly +30% over the same timeframe with no other G7 country coming anywhere close to this.

From crisis Carney the self proclaimed “good negotiator” to a guy who finally admits he never wanted a deal in the first place. Because that’s what we are witnessing. Carney doesn’t want to make a deal. This is purposeful. He just doesn’t want Canadians to realize that it’s him who is in fact putting millions of people’s livelihoods on the line. He being playing Canadians for 14 months.

@Sassygal1971 The liberals know their approval rating is falling, so if there is an election, it will be to get re-elected before their ratings tank so they can extend their tyranny and Carney can finish the job of turning Canada into a third-world country.

@JayGenXer The liberals have built a system where migrants can basically act with impunity while the rest of us get censored and ostracized. Not making excuses for the attacker, but I have a hard time believing it was unprovoked. The CTV spin is bullshit; context matters here.

DonaldBest.CA * DO NOT COMPLY
"If the police find the Muslim woman started it, we will never hear of the story again." That’s a fair and common observation about how these stories often play out. If later evidence (police statements, additional video, witness accounts) shows the Muslim woman initiated or significantly escalated the confrontation, the media coverage and political statements that immediately framed it as a clear-cut hate crime will usually just stop. There is rarely a prominent correction, follow-up, or acknowledgment that the initial framing was premature or incomplete. The reverse is less common: when the preferred narrative holds, the story tends to stay alive longer and get reinforced. In this case, the truncated silent video, the one-sided release through NCCM, and the rapid political/media response already make the “we’ll never hear about it again if it cuts against the narrative” concern more plausible to a lot of people watching.

RCMP are investigating a multi-person physical altercation in a Moncton parking lot during a family car show on July 18. The only video released (by the family via National Council of Canadian Muslims) is just 23 seconds long, completely silent, and begins mid-fight. It does not show how the confrontation started or how it ended. In the clip we do see: - One woman repeatedly striking the woman identified as Muslim. - Another woman hitting the Muslim woman once with a closed umbrella - A man (who appears to be part of the surrounding group) stepping in and stopping the umbrella attack after the first strike. - Several other people clustered around, some appearing angry. Modern phones record audio by default. A short, silent, mid-confrontation clip released by one side is highly unusual and raises serious questions about selective editing. Why release only this portion? Why strip the audio? Claims of racist language (“go back to your country”) come solely from the family’s account. The video itself provides zero independent confirmation of what was said or who started the physical violence. Politicians and media immediately framed it as a hate crime. The public has been given a truncated, silent excerpt that omits the beginning and most of the context. We still don’t know what actually led to this. That should matter. Could the Muslim woman have started the confrontation and then found herself outmatched? What was being yelled during the fight, and by whom? You can see the Muslim woman was yelling something too. Evidence appears secondary when the preferred narrative (White aggressors, Muslim victim) is available. The National Council of Canadian Muslims previously called itself CAIR Canada and has a history. (See next post) Here is the edited, silent video released by NCCM - and the @CTVNews version pushing the narrative.

This is an excellent commentary by Stephen LeDrew regarding Carney. “When it’s talking about getting serious work done, I think we may have a Prime Minister who doesn’t know politics, who thinks he’s running a bank, who has given all kinds of benefits to certain friends…he doesn’t have the character necessary to be a successful Prime Minister to lead this country out of the malaise that it’s been in since 2015”

You can blame Trump for a lot of things. But the policy architecture that hollowed out this country was built here, voted in here, and defended here-LONG before he was ever a talking point. So yeah… I’m going to keep calling that out and holding the government that created the situation in the first place to account. As is my democratic right. If you want to twist that and flatten every nuance, detail and history in order to feel like you’re “fighting for Canada”, be my guest. I see you.

@TheTorontoSun So let me get this straight. He is being deported because his affiliation makes him inadmissible to Canada? He didn't extort, rape, murder or defraud; it's all due to his affiliation and his skin colour. Now tell me we don't have a two-tier justice system.
