@sheikhswampert @lesbianrivals So Flying+Levitate keep an immunity (and it can be to many types of Grounded move now, not just Ground.) Steel and Poison keep their disadvantages, Bug and Grass keep their advantages. Overall feels the most balanced way.

@axewxoxo @deprecateddd Showcases being no icky boys allowed, no battles (goodness, why would a girl ROUGHHOUSE?), and a weird emphasis on baking (clearly woman's work) was WEIRD, man. And its a shame because contests with extra themed activites (maybe even trying into the battle rounds) would be COOL!

@deprecateddd Contests were just as competitive as battles and they had recurring boy rivals compete in both Advanced and Diamond and Pearl so that was never the problem. In terms of the goals they give the girl characters, it started getting weird XY onwards

@Axl_hk Its interesting, too the different ways Caine's "persuasions" went. In the musical number, while frustrated and self-doubting, he still felt in control and flexed that fact. His punishments were violent yet cartoony, all paired with a jaunty song about how he's the boss here.

This is what made Caine so much more interesting to me in this episode. He isn't just a slave to his programming, he clearly has some degree of agency His personality change wasn't just because he activated evil.exe, it was genuine anxiety and frustration that spiraled into hate
