You make a great point and if we're treating one as made of glass then you're right, the other has to be treated the same. But... Kamara relies less on physical contact that Onana. Onana hunts, stretches, wins ball. Bouba manipulates space, exploits it and sets us off. I'm my opinion there are a thousand 38 game reliable "ratters" out there but the pool of Bouba type players is a lot thinner.

I've tweeted that Onana, Tielemans and Kamara possibly are my favourite ever Villa midfield. But Onana is either desperately unlucky to get so many niggly injuries or he's the type of player who ( let's be kind) has to feel 100% to play. Either way, at £50m we can't afford to have a key midfielder out for such large chunks. We don't have a deep enough squad to be having players missing a third of the season, every season.

Luke Shaw not being called up is ridiculous. There seems to be a strange narrative surrounding him, but when he’s fit, he’s a top quality footballer who absolutely deserves to be on that plane.

Buendia has been criticised a lot for giving the ball away over the last 5 or 6 weeks. About time Rogers got some constructive criticism too. United goal came from him giving the ball away under no pressure, a frequent occurrence of late. Young lad who's played a lot of games in 2 seasons but he gives the ball away far too much, and often under little pressure.
