@erinkoper I’m a far left progressive and I don’t believe men should be playing in women’s sports either. That’s one big thing I disagree with my party on.

The public apologies will never be enough for progressives. Allegheny council president and democrat, Pat Catena, apologized for his campaign mailer that stood against men playing in female sports. With mounting public pressure coming from left wing activists and politicians such as Congressman, Chris Deluzio, Pat apologized. He is much kinder than me because I would not have. I personally would have doubled down however, I am a Republican and that is our stance and we don't apologize for it. The point i am trying to make is that the apology was never going to be enough for the modern democrats. The Allegheny Democratic committee even came after him! They have been being chipped away at by progressives in recent years.....and it shows! The progressives now want to shame Pat Catena even more by removing him and ultimately destroying his political career. They are using him as an example, a sacrificial lamb to remind those that choose to think for themselves, that they will destroy you if you try that again. It is actually surreal to watch this far left takeover happen in real time.
