People claiming the Habs got lucky in this series when it would’ve been over in 5 if that Zamboni goal never happened.
The Habs won games with score lines of 5-1, 6-2 and 6-3.
They were the better team in this series, just like they were in the Tampa series, and they won both.

Only reason Montreal survived both series was Dobes stood on his head. Possession and scoring chances leaned the other team's way more often than not.

I’m losing it. We took the Habs to overtime almost every game and dragged the series to 7. Meanwhile Buffalo is getting manhandled by every night. We would’ve beaten them easily, it’s a shame we had to meet the Habs in the first round. But hey, at least we actually put up a fight
