What is something you've officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting?

My 6 year old just asked me… “Dad, why don’t homeless people just get a job instead of asking for money?” How the heck do I respond to that? I simply responded that they could but choose not to.

@stelzner_n1150 Went to Texas Roadhouse last night at 8pm. Waited 15min to sit and the place was so packed they were running out of food. Your story does not line up.

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9 He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee “In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.” He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience” How out of touch could a person possibly be…

🚨 WARNING: TOMORROW WILL BE THE WORST DAY OF 2026!! 98% of people will lose everything. The U.S.-Iran peace deal has officially COLLAPSED. What was supposed to be a bullish signal for markets is now off the table. And when markets open on Monday, this won’t be “just a dip.” This is a geopolitical catalyst hitting an already fragile system. Stocks will dump. Metals will dump. Crypto will dump even harder. Insiders are already selling EVERYTHING except oil. This is no longer about positioning. It’s about protection. The dollar is losing strength in real time. Liquidity is tightening. And now the pressure just multiplied. The U.S. and Iran spent weeks in negotiations. No agreement. No ceasefire extension. No breakthrough. The Strait of Hormuz is still closed. And the peace talks are over. That changes the entire risk landscape. Because when diplomacy breaks down, markets don’t wait. They react immediately. And they don’t price hope. They price escalation. From here, there are only three paths forward, and they do NOT carry the same consequences: 1⃣ CONTAINED OUTCOME Backchannel diplomacy resumes, tensions ease, markets stabilize after the initial shock. 2⃣ ESCALATION CYCLE Talks remain frozen, pressure builds, and markets start pricing sustained regional instability. 3⃣ FULL BREAKDOWN The situation deteriorates fast, forcing an immediate repricing of oil, global risk, and capital flows. That third scenario is where things turn dangerous. Because none of this is happening in a vacuum. At the same time: → Bonds are being dumped aggressively → Yields are surging higher → The dollar is weakening → Liquidity is drying up Put the pieces together. When geopolitical stress collides with financial fragility, markets do not adjust smoothly. They dump violently. Oil does not climb slowly. It goes parabolic 10-15-20% a day. Capital does not rotate gradually. It flees risk instantly. And risk assets? They do not “correct.” They DUMP HARD. This is how systemic reactions start. Because once markets begin pricing duration instead of temporary shock, the entire framework changes. Inflation expectations rise. Policy options shrink. Central banks get cornered. And by the time they respond, the damage is already done. The collapse of U.S.-Iran peace talks is not just another headline. It is a trigger. A new layer of uncertainty on top of an already unstable system. Watch oil. Watch bonds. Watch the flows. Because when this starts accelerating, reaction time disappears. I’ve spent years studying macro and market stress cycles. When the next move becomes obvious, I’ll post it here first. Follow and turn notifications on. Because once it reaches the mainstream headlines, it’ll already be too late.

Parents, let me be extremely clear… If your child uses “retarded” or “faggot” in my classroom, they are out. And it’s a reflection on you as well. I didn’t mince my words. And if they learned it from you… shame. To the majority of parents who are raising your children to respect others, you’re doing it right, we see that, and appreciate you.

The next wave of landlords? Accidental ones. People who can’t sell… So they rent. That’s why rents are already dropping 10–20% in parts of Florida.

@jonbrooks You wait 10 years and it will cost $6000 /month to buy. Prices aren’t going down unless a major recession occurs and if you wait till then you possibly won’t have a job when the opportunity comes.

The math broke. You can rent the same house for $2,500… Or buy it for $4,000/month. Buyers aren’t stupid. They’re waiting.

@TopTierND Almost all of ND’s NIL money goes to the football program. I think it’s a big reason why the men’s hoops, hockey, & baseball teams all stink now. Which is unfortunate because schools like Michigan clearly have the money to be good at football and basketball.

Hector Resendez - Trade School Secrets
Kids travel sports teams are a scam. My daughter did competitive gymnastics. It was costing us $9–11K per year. I see families doing the same with travel baseball, soccer, volleyball… Spending $8K–$15K annually. And almost every parent I talk to says the same thing later: “Why did we spend so much?” Less than 1% will play in college. Even fewer will go pro. So why are we draining savings accounts for it? We switched to rec ball. $90 a season. No more lost summers. Kids are still having fun. We have our life back. Anyone else step off the travel team treadmill?
