I can confirm what Pete says is correct. The reason that there were so many SNP MPs absent from the debate on independence was they had important prior engagements with corporate lobbyists in the Palace of Westminster. These are the people we need to win over.

Rejoining the EU is a complex process that will take years of negotiations.
Removing the economic harm of Brexit needs alignment with the Single Market & Customs Union and can be done in weeks.

When Suella Braverman uses the rhetoric of an 'invasion' to describe people arriving on British shores, she's deliberately dehumanising them. It's an old and effective trick the far right uses. Such rhetoric must be condemned, as these are human beings we're dealing with.
