@DaveHcontrarian now if the entire market was running like MU is running today, that would be a serious melt-up FOMO is coming soon.

@DaveHcontrarian @coding_thoughts SMH to 600? NVDA is 20% of that index and its chart looks pretty bad. Sitting around $188, you must expect one helluva run by the other 25 stocks. I’ve questioned your calls in the past, like you saying NVDA would double, only to be wrong. But this seems a stretch. I defer though

@coding_thoughts Not my equity indexes and not my prebust metal and mining targets. I did raise my long-term silver target from $500 to $1000. I did raise my target on SMH from $550-$600,XLI from $225 to $240 & COPX from $120 to $140.

@DaveHcontrarian @KuzushiFinance @MMusclesd @Scottbilly56 Are you not worried about what looks like a head and shoulders formation in NVDA? It makes up 20% of SMH. I‘ll defer to your expertise because you are batting 100% against me. Anything I question, you end up right.

@KuzushiFinance @MMusclesd @Scottbilly56 Yup.Very bullish.Just have to complete the current stock market correction. We're likely looking at 1%-3% downside from here, depending on the index & maybe 5% in SMH & the MAG7. Then another big market run. Amazingly, this relatively modest pullback has rebuilt the wall of worry.

@DaveHcontrarian hi David, what’s really astonishing is, that since 2024 the fed made 7 rate cuts with 175 points and the bond yields since then are up!!! What is your interpretation?

@DaveHcontrarian Hey David, What exactly do you use for Technical Analyse? Elliot Waves, wyckoff, trendlines or indicators? Can you recommend somewhere to learn it, perhaps in a book?

@DaveHcontrarian @Steve____D Before the bust, do you see companies being over leveraged/taking on too much debt and possibly fraud leading to the bust? I guy told me these are factors that lead to bubbles popping. thanks!

@Steve____D That's always possible but a steep correction during the bust is my high conviction call. Sounds like you want to hold through the bust. That's your prerogative.

@DaveHcontrarian Hi David , do you still expect both silver and gold price to decline in the bust ? Is there any possibility or variable in your analysis, to suggest they might not sell off, and they will continue to rise to new all time highs ? Thanks

@DaveHcontrarian @theoptionsgoat Does sentiment override crazy valuations? Quite frankly, I thought your mention that NVDA could possibly double when NVDA was around $100 was crazy. You were right, it went above $200. Palantir has a pe of 200 plus!! I assume they matter only after the bust.

@DaveHcontrarian @Mystral2042 @ChuckHellebuyck i know you have stated you use technical analysis. I assume you look at the credit market. Do you look at HYG or BKLN? Both look like they are in the process of breaking down. Maybe an early warning? Thanks in advance for any insights!

@Mystral2042 @ChuckHellebuyck Not a good read. I raised my targets based on my analysis & far in advance of these moves. The S&P hasn't even gotten to my 7000 target, nevermind my 8000, 8700 or 9500 targets. You just have to let it play out. Bust & bear will follow.

Hey @DaveHcontrarian watched a short of you youtube.com/shorts/D60VcGs… saying housing will fall 30-40% in bust due to higher interest rates but in the 70’s when we had double digit mortgage rates, housing prices still went up. How will the bust be different?

@DaveHcontrarian hey Dave, your theory behind the meltup is institutions are waiting on the sideline because they're skeptical, but the statistics say otherwise. Most of the individual stocks, specifically in the mag 7 are 85% or more owned by institutions.

@DaveHcontrarian @Pete59755115 What will prevent institutions from just staying on the sidelines? Do valuations even matter anymore? Many a metric are showing valuation levels near the top or at record levels. A follower who’s desperately trying to learn and understand. Private equity looks to be collapsing.

@Pete59755115 Lots of reasons for the steep run to the top. Unwinding of institutional skepticism is but one. It's a forecast not a theory. And no one said institutions aren't already in stocks. They just aren't nearly all in yet. Watch & learn.

@DaveHcontrarian @RonHettle1 @pianches @JrMiningGuy Appreciate all you do here. Do market valuation indicators like cape shiller ratio, Buffett indicator, mean reversion model, p/e ratios, etc. factor into your analysis? Several are massively overvalued.

@DaveHcontrarian @leblond_louise @CapitalCosm Do you place much importance on market/stock valuations? Seems not. I also seen were SMH was increased to 500! Valuations on semis seem terribly stretched though.

@DaveHcontrarian @starcevic_alex @MosaicAssetCo @PalisadesRadio Appreciate all the info you provide! Is this the reason why all the money printing won’t work next time around, because of inflation? I’d always thought US could print money and do QE like Japan did for decades and keep kicking the debt problem down the road and keep spending.

@DaveHcontrarian @OliversWilde @Barchart Have you thought about how next year’s mid term elections might influence your forecasts? With Republicans controlling congress, I doubt they’d want to have to fight for their seats during a recession or bust. Seems they’d do anything to keep bull market intact.

@John65004580 @Ashnola777 I don't think so John. As I explain in my interview with Rosanna Prestia, it isn't just whether the Fed prints or not. It is how fast and how much they print. It's about getting to a right-sized response. For a number of reasons, that will take a while.

@DaveHcontrarian Hi Dave, always appreciate your perspective on the markets. Just wondering why you think the markets could correct by as much as 80% during the bust when all of the major corrections in the last 50 years have only been approx. 35% to 55%?
