@theWellRedMage ARR is rough as you go through it until you get to the last 5 hours or so but once you get a few expansions in you will look back on ARR fondly because its the foundation of everything that comes after and without it none of the incredible things later work.

I'm still on the fence with this game after trying to get into it 6 or so times. On the one hand, the community can be extremely welcoming and helpful! On the other, ARR is some of the slowest, dullest, chorefest I've ever played. The "it gets better in season 2" of Final Fantasy

It’s a shame that a lot of Final Fantasy fans will turn away one of the best FF experiences you will have for the sole reason of it being an MMO. Throw away any misconceptions you have and just try it. The journey is unforgettable.

@Laura_Razzy I took a pretty big break from FF14 over the last 6 or so months. I've been playing again getting my last 3 jobs to cap. After that I have the last patch to do and the new one is out in a couple weeks.

I miss XIV it's taking all my willpower not to resub but I know I wouldn't do anything in the game if i did anyways
