@DonnyWals And aren't all md files part of the context, so doesn't that burn a lot of tokens? Or does the agent only use that reference if it considers it relevant to the task? My point is, does it then behave dynamically like cursor rules alwaysApply:false or skills?

My biggest "building with ai" mistake has been to want it to just work. No agent files, no skills, just pure AI magic. It doesn't work that way. But it also doesn't take hours before you can get going. Ask your LLM to help you create an agents.md file. Make sure you include patterns and rules that matter to you and get going. Adjust your agents file as needed. Get better at promoting. If possible use plan modes instead of trying to one shot things in a single prompt. This is a new way of working, and it's worth learning about it

👋 Would you happen to have any recommendations or sources for AGENTS.md file/cursor rules? I need some inspiration on how other mobile devs deal with this.

8/ ⚠️ One caveat: Parameterized views can’t be used with this pattern — you can’t pass dynamic values (like item.id) into a stored Content without falling back to closures, which reintroduce the performance issue. We’ll cover solutions later. #swiftUI

7/ 🧑‍🎓 This issue is even covered in Apple’s docs: “When accepting a closure… call the closure in the initialiser so you only store its return value.” Let’s stop repeating this pattern. 🔁 RT and refactor your reusable views. developer.apple.com/documentation/… #swiftUI #iOS #iosdev

🧵 A SwiftUI performance trap you (probably) use every day – and it’s silently wrecking your UI efficiency. Let’s fix it. 👇 #swiftUI #iOS #iosdev

New project and unfamiliar code? 😱 No problem. @cursor_ai makes it easy to get oriented in a new codebase. 🤓 Pro tip: Ask it to generate a Mermaid diagram — great for visualizing implementations. It’s also a game-changer for writing docs or analyzing features. 🚀 #mobiledev
