@BarackObama I’m in Maui right now. I’m English & live in CA. I had become accustomed to fires in CA. We left CA yesterday with no active fire in Maui & by evening it was devastation for some locations. Lahaina has long heritage & is an amazing place. My heart goes out to those impacted!

We were lucky to make it out of Kaanapali. The fire in Lahaina has taken everything. Thise who lived there are either dead or displaced now. Thousands of people without a home. All businesses burned down, and tourism closed which was their livelihood. If you can help Maui, do it.
