My favorite piece of advice from Naval "Find what feels like play to you but looks like work to others. It looks like work to them, but to you it feels like play. It is not work. You are going to outcompete them because you are doing it effortlessly."

Two quarterbacks in NFL history have thrown three touchdown passes and rushed for three touchdowns in the same game. Josh Allen has now done it twice. Good luck guessing the other guy.

Sadly, Paramount+ is a streamer that uses the local channel, rather than just the raw feed from CBS. Was hoping that would fix the issue.
Bratac@majorpa2

@joshtweeterson Its so bad. Switched from cable to Paramount app and having the same issue.

good morning I filed dozens of FOIAs to see what schools were selling the most booze at football games, both in raw numbers and per capita. who was number one? Obviously Wisconsin. By a LOT. But here's the rest of our data:

Greg Lukianoff, Sam Abrams, and Adam Goldstein just saved me from having to do a point by point refutation of the incredibly bad arguments made by (shocked I tell you) the President of the AAUP who is on a bit of rampage against viewpoint diversity. Link in reply.

No one said otherwise. But for: 1. the frontiers of science (not things established beyond doubt, like the roundness of the Earth) 2. Moral, political, creative and philosophical issues (for which there is no truth-criteria) such diversity is critical. For science, you get to the truth by considering alternatives until one carries the day. For moral, political, philosophical issues, you slug it out ad infinitum. And a lack of diversity in creative areas would be ... depressing.

@swmckewonOWH @swmckewonOWH I said it two years ago. Fickle got lucky with a QB at Cincinnati. And in a lesser conference. Wisconsin is the new Nebraska. Had a good thing and let it go.

@swmckewonOWH That's because Luke Fickle is not that great.

Kirk Ferentz owns whatever recruiting failures helped create that offense. But the team’s 3 best offensive players are out and he just coached circles around Luke Fickell.

Bret Bielema is expecting the NCAA to pass a rule giving players five years of eligibility. "I think 5 for 5 will be in place for the guys next year, I don't have any reservations of that... I know the Big Ten is 100% behind it, I know the Big 12 was when I talked to Coach McGuire (Texas Tech) and I talked to several SEC coaches who said the SEC was going to be on board, as well." Says AD Josh Whitman shares the same belief, they hope it'll go through in October with the announcement of the change to one portal window.
