OK, decided to make this non-Dublin, and it's not a list of the ten 'best pubs' in Ireland, I'm not the Irish Times, just personal favourites I've been to.

I'm all about the fresh beer tonight. Ordered online. Love the personal touch from Maeve. You can't beat good beer and good service. @WesternHerd Flora and Fauna 10 Hop Double IPA. (Can't tag Bridger for some reason🤷🏼♂️). Cheers all.
With International Stout Day just gone, few categories are fizzing with as much momentum as stout.

Has anyone any thoughts on what and where the real oldest pub in Ireland (don't!) might be? It would need to be 17th century or older, have roughly the same footprint and walls, and have always been an alehouse/tavern/drink-focused spot. So not an inn - or a different trade ...
@JohnBut007 Sheesh. I'd say it has a bit of age, but that's pushing it. No evidence I guess? I know it claims to have been the King's Arms, which was an inn in the 18th c. In Wexford ...

Beautiful beer
As they say in these parts, this is quare stupid. You shake it to get the nitro going, but even at that and a hard pour it came out flat. I had to use the old trick with the syringe plunger which eventually formed a head. It's a nice treacly beer that deserves a better format ...
