Since 2013 we have raised awareness of care leavers at Christmas, throughout UK. .No care leaver should feel alone on Christmas Day. There are 34 Christmas Dinners this year. Our work is not finished. Please share the love.

@faisalislam Why are you just repeating what politicians say, rather than critically analysing and providing bigger picture? Doesn’t UK spend a relatively low amount on pensions, aren’t UK pensions some of the lowest? Surely what is unsustained is poverty for older people?

Pay is now rising by the same amount as CPI inflation however, meaning 0.0% growth in real pay (excluding bonuses)…

Choosing your parents is becoming ever more important. Growing correlation between parents' and children's earning is being exacerbated by growing importance of inheritance. Poorer children in North and Midlands find it especially hard to move up the economic hierarchy.
