@thameswater Customer services at @thameswater - after being unable to answer why my recent bill has raised my monthly payment by 110%, I say “This is what privatisation looks like”.
They reply - “I apologise for the inconvenience you've experienced.”

@thameswater have just put up my monthly payments by 110%. Since 2022, my payments have gone up by 2.85 - almost 3 fold - despite being told a meter would likely bring my bills down. No one at Thames water can explain why. This is racketeering. My complaint is ongoing #extortion
