@robertliefeld My father took us to the drive in to see. I was five years old and too young to really understand. I am glad he took me to see it. I appreciate this movie even more now.

The entire “Hunt” that introduces the apes is shot for shot perfection. Can’t imagine how amazing it was to watch it unfold in real time when Planet Of The Apes premiered 50 years ago.
