@f1lmer I agree that Max should be stripped of the 21 title for the overspend, but Would rather there was no title awarded for 21, otherwise its a tainted title for Lewis.

The fact is, Max is the beneficiary of cheating. There’s no getting away from that. And any serious sport needs to punish cheating.
Sucks for Max, but there’s no way around it. He didn’t win ’21 fairly for two reasons (Masi and overspending), so he can’t reasonably keep it. 🤷♂️

People can say "it's not Max's fault, he shouldn't lose the 21 championship" okay so is it Lewis' fault that his team chose to follow the rules instead of break them? And also is it his fault that Masi chose to disregard the rules in the middle of a race?
