Had a 5:30 am flight from IAH Houston, Tx. Heard on the news about the staffing shortages and long wait times so arrived at 2am. Had a work bag to check so got in line for ticket counter. Counter didn’t open till 3:30 and moved well. Thought I was good.

If you really want to piss off tons of people and hurt quality of life/business this is a pretty good recipe. Feel bad for anyone having to use this airport today or next few days. Completely unusable.

Then the end of the security line was a 15 minute walk down into the subway system below the airport. Finally reach the back of the line around 4:05am. Minimum 2 hour wait to reach security. No chance to make flight and rebooked. Luckily in no hurry and rebooking was easy.

@KipHenley The reality and the communication as you’ve stated are inconsistent. The thing that matters most is that the caddie and the player mean the same thing when they say one ball out. Your video clearly shows what you call “one ball” out is actually a half a ball out aim.

I keep reading and seeing people talk about the green speeds at oakmont being 14,15 and even 16 on the stimp. This shows a clear lack of understanding on green speed and play speed. The slope of the greens at Oakmont is severe. Doesn’t allow for greens speeds that high.

USGA is quickly gaining on the Masters as one of the most challenging work sites for coaches. PGA champ and The Open, who’s gonna challenge for that third spot? PGA was excellent this year btw.

Gotta give this a try if you often practice alone and putt with a line on the ball. Best training aid I’ve seen for this particular student type. Well done @jonhardestygolf
