@Fplbinjuice1 @MrMatthewTodd Because the CO2 from fossil fuels already burnt remains in the atmosphere and we are still adding to it. The policies you mentioned will have prevented it from getting worse even faster.

@MrMatthewTodd I thought we had spent trillions on climate change ? Green taxes , low emmision zones , electric cars , reducing emissions from factories , getting rid of coal factories etc so why is it getting worse then ?

Egypt signed peace with Israel in 1979, got Sinai back, and stopped the war. Decades later, Egypt secured its territory & its people’s safety, but didn’t become politically or culturally aligned with Israel. It’s that simple.
