@TeslaTruckClub @MarkRober Yes Mark should have used FSD. But the biggest issue was not verbally explaining that camera based systems will still do a better job than a human and that integrating lidar will bring us to a level of safety above what human and machine vision is capable of.

The latest video from @MarkRober is actually a cool test but WHY DIDN’T HE USE FSD instead of autopilot?? 🤦🏻‍♂️ All that time spent and he didn’t use the actual self driving system Tesla is developing.

I’ve seen more crazy things today driving than the past 3 months Got an emergency brake here because bozo two cars ahead decides to stop on the highway to not miss his exit. This resulted in red hands and take over immediately, which was weird.

@DirtyTesLa It was obvious. The camera has shown to be a big limitation. I think much bigger than people realize. Everyone was too focused on computer alone.

Elon says the truth is, Tesla is going to have to update people’s HW3 computer for anyone that bought FSD! It will be difficult, but glad we got a concrete answer.
