@original_jaj Don’t disagree but I fear we don’t have that many elite options at the back atm! Even if I was making changes there it would only be Tomori in for probably Coady or Dier. I personally would take someone just for pens, especially if the alternative is limited game time anyway 🤷♂️

@JohnLuke_PW To take someone just for penalties is a bit odd, but I'd of taken him over Wilson I think, although Wilson can hold the play up as well.
I get jwp as his dead ball and crossing is superb, although maddison is just as good imo.
Attack isn't the issue imo, defence is 😬

@original_jaj Maybe ‘game changers’ was the wrong term. Just players you might want on the bench at specific moments.

@original_jaj As a few have pointed out, just additions like Toney for pens. Wilson unlikely to get game time anyway, might as well have had a solid pen taker in there for the moment. As a chels fan Gallagher seems strange over JWP for set pieces if Trips isn’t on the field.

@original_jaj Yeah it’s not that I’d make lots of changes, just that it doesn’t seem very thought out. Don’t feel he’s particularly lost any sleep over it, just gone for the classics. The few ‘risks’ he could’ve taken could’ve been game changers. He’s in the biz tho! Gotta hope he knows best!
