If all we’ve seen is him mash two notes for four bars, then the burden of proof is on you claiming he can actually play chord progressions, tho even that isnt talent itself

Use your brain for just one second. I compared it to pro sports for a reason and that's because it's closer to that scale
A few people booing at someone at a local basketball park is not the same thing as dozens if not hundreds of your PEERS booing at you at one of the biggest smash events to date

You're a bot if you reply with "but booing is normal in sports" and here is why
1: Professional athletes make more than enough to handle the hate, it comes with the territory when you’re making millions
2: The Smash community is filled with young people and minors. If you, as a grown ass man are booing at a kid then something is seriously wrong with you
3: Even if you ignore the first two points, Smash events are their own thing. Different culture, different vibe, different expectations and many other different aspects from traditional sports. Treating it like it’s a 1:1 with pro sports is dumb
