Compared to @Jozefina__S, @virtue_essence is the most courteous people ever. Yes I use this space to be vindictive on here. Also I still respect @Hasan22821492.

@Detroitred16 @MarcusMStanley Furthermore it does not make the country militarised. A militarised country is a long way off especially if you are suggesting that the money is being wasted not used well.

@Detroitred16 @MarcusMStanley Well I can agree that it is wise to ensure the spending is not wasteful and that contractors are well and all that but it does lessen the force of the argument. Welfare spending is still like 3 or 4 times military spending.

JUST RELEASED: Trump's 2027 budget proposal cuts non-defense spending by 10% while raising military spending by $445 billion or 42% to $1.5 trillion a year. We are headed for an even more profoundly militarized nation and world unless we change course.

@JohnNotRealNam2 Yes that’s true it doesn’t include entitlements. Of course Trump has separately indicated he’s seeking health care cuts

If you ignore the widespread price controls, reckless deficit spending to finance generous welfare programmes, and extensive regulations on everything else then yes, Britain is super duper neoliberal.

Leftists will look you in the eyes and insist we live in a neoliberal dystopia despite extensive price controls distorting the market.
BBC Breakfast@BBCBreakfast

Vets will be legally bound to cap prescription fees and publish price lists among new measures which will start coming into force later this year. Peter Ruddick had more details on #BBCBreakfast about the findings from the watchdog that has been investigating the soaring costs of looking after pets bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@aodanhill Exactly. This is what frustrates me. People tack neo-liberalism on a country whose Government is huge and who has immense regulations. No wonder productivity is stagnant in the U.K.

@aodanhill They messed up everything including inviting former Tories in. I do not think the Tories are all bad but that just sends a bad message about the future of the country.

Reform are really bottling their Scottish campaign but these blunders are not unexpected. Offord's (very unfunny) joke isn't even the worst issue, it seems they still haven't been able to manage candidate selection properly.

@aodanhill The hobgoblinisation of the rich is been the greatest threat to modern society and I hate the rich in the West. It has made me more Capitalist.

Seen an Instagram post about the Greens and wealth taxes, and some of the supporters were taking it even further in the comments saying that wealth taxes should be applied to *any* savings accounts. Deeply worried about the future of this country.

There are obviously no validly ordained clergy in Korea, and I don't even think the KCA claims to have any. The Catholic community of the north, including Bishop Yong-ho, was exterminated by the socialist government but Pyongyang was the historic heart of Christianity in Korea.

The Holy Mass celebrated in Changchung Cathedral (장충성당) in Pyongyang, North Korea The cathedral was built by the Korean Catholic Association (조선카톨릭교협회), a state-run organisation, and Mass was celebrated in December 2015 by clergy from the Republic of Korea.

@aodanhill On that note do you have access to "Social Security: Outlines of a Scheme of National Health Insurance" (1944) By Doctor John Dignan? It is a non-state National Health Plan that Clann na Poblachta backed (The correct choice for 1948.). I would also like to know about Catholic...

An important distinction between the demise of Pictish culture and the demise of Gaelic culture is that there is no evidence to support the "Pictish genocide theory" that underpins anti-Gaelic pop-history narratives whereas there is evidence of state suppression of Gaelic.

So the problem is swathes of people entered Britain with uncapped dependents. The solution? To accelerate permanent residency & enable full access to the welfare state in order to protect arbitrary stats. No strategy to reduce dependency or change eligibility criteria.

Excl: New analysis shows plans to impose the new 10-year settlement rules to migrants already in the UK will increase child poverty by 90,000. Labour rebels have seized on the findings to argue that the policy conflicts with the party's pledge to reduce child poverty. They are planning to force a symbolic vote in parliament to expose the scale of opposition to the plans on the Labour benches. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

The reason that nobody likes the NAFO people (other than other NAFO people) is because it is full of nutjobs like this who think that being critical of mass immigration makes you a KGB asset, even if you're strongly pro-Ukraine and pro-Europe.
Gavril Ducu 🇷🇴🇩🇪🇺🇲🇳🇱🇪🇺@🇺🇦@DucuGavril

Not every EU-branded account is actually pro-EU. This PanEuropean account👇 is an Identitarian movement account, which is sort of a light-nazi kgb funded fragmentation operation aimed at fracturing EU unity. Just to be clear about the players.
