Proud week at @WACA_Cricket, opening the redeveloped WACA Ground and beginning a new era. Fitting that the first match was the NRMA Insurance Women's Day-Night Test between Australia and India. The perfect way to welcome the community back to this iconic venue.

A landmark day for @WACA_Cricket. Today we officially opened the WACA Ground Improvement Project - honouring a century of iconic moments while launching a bold new era for cricket in WA. A world-class home for our sport, and a community destination active 365 days a year.

Last night at Optus Stadium, @ScorchersBBL once again showed why this Club stands alone. #BBL15 champions in front of 55,018 Members & fans at @OptusStadium - the biggest standalone cricket crowd in WA history. Immensely proud of everyone who makes the Scorchers what they are.

What a way for @ScorchersBBL to start 2026. 37,643 fans at Optus Stadium for our Aboriginal Match - celebrating culture, wearing Joshua James’ stunning Aboriginal kit and a 33-run win over the Strikers. Then our annual Pride Game, continuing to champion inclusion and belonging.

What a week for @ScorchersBBL. @WBBL wrapped up, @BBL launched - almost back-to-back. Huge pride in our WBBL team after four do-or-die games in a week. BBL|15 started the right way with a 5-wicket win, weather and all. Congratulations to all involved.

A record 42,423 fans packed Optus Stadium for Australia v India - the biggest ever crowd for this matchup in Perth. Fantastic to see so many WACA Members there. Can’t wait to do it all again for The Ashes next month!

The stage is set for a massive summer of cricket in Perth! Drop-in pitches are now installed at @OptusStadium ahead of The Ashes, Aus v India ODI & #BBL15. Our Members have the best seat in the house, especially for Day 1 of The Ashes when the first ball ignites it all.

It has been a privilege to host the Indonesian women’s national team in WA before their ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers next week. This trip is part of @WACA_Cricket's growing partnership with PCI, under an MoU supported by the Australian Government Program and the @ICC.

Great to get the opportunity to have the WA Cricket Women's team put me through my paces in today's training session. Things are ramping up with the start of their season just two months away!
