Last week we were very lucky to be invited to play in a football festival at Colchester United football stadium. There were lots of skills on show and the children had an amazing time and did John Ray Infants proud.

To celebrate the King and Queen’s Coronation we are having a picnic lunch, Friday 5 May, we would like all children to bring in their own packed lunch. We will NOT be offering a hot meal on the day and would ask you to contact the school office if your child requires a lunch.

Next Friday its Non Uniform Day, come dressed in red, white and or blue, or dressed as a Royal, King, Queen, Prince or Princess.

Disadvantaged children are growing up without books of their very own. Without books that they can love and cherish. And without a favourite bedtime story that they want to read again and again. Become a BookTrust Friend and help us reach more children with the magic of reading.

Year 2 were lucky to have a visit from Tottenham Hotspur football development centre courtesy of Notley High School, They ran some fun football lessons during PE. The children were fantastic and had lot's of fun. Two children from each class received player of the week medals

A lot is happening in school tomorrow! Space Museum for Year 1 and Chocolate Fayre for Year 2! Come along from 2:30pm to grab a sweet treat 🍫
