Game Pass Ultimate has become too expensive for too many players. Starting today, we’re dropping the price from $29.99 to $22.99/month.
Future Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass Ultimate on day one. They will join this tier the following holiday after launch (about a year later). Current Call of Duty titles will remain available to Ultimate subscribers.
We’ll keep learning and evolving Game Pass to better match what matters to players.

@asha_shar This is a massive L. Most people only sub to Ultimate for Day 1 Call of Duty access. Scrapping that just to save a few bucks is a terrible move—$30/month was already a steal for what you get. Losing that immediate value makes the whole service feel way less "Ultimate.”

I can’t believe the amount of people that think Destiny falloff was related at all to Marathon, guys the content and direction for years was just really not great. I never felt like we didn’t have enough money or time in the game it just wasn’t prioritized properly at all

I feel marathon unfairly gets a lot of flak for "causing destiny's downfall" as many claim it did.
Destiny has been heading down this road for quite some time. The franchise fatigue has consumed the playerbase. If it wants to thrive instead barely survive, it needs to evolve.
