@johnredwood That’s a ridiculous, headline seeking thing to say when you look at the state of the UK, Conservative managed economy. Simply saying the EU has problems and glad we are not part of it does you no credit. You can’t ignore 13 years of Tory management of the economy.

I see the EU wants an additional 66 bn Euros for its budget. It is also borrowing Euro 800 bn during covid recovery. Glad these bills will not be sent to UK taxpayers.

No apology from Bank of England for creating a credit and asset bubble in 2021 which led to a bad general inflation. No comment on the huge losses they now want to make by needlessly selling bonds. Why can’t they get it right?

I’m sick of hearing totally unqualified commentators and presenters criticising effective policing. They’d break down and panic if ever faced with the immensely important, split second decisions that police officers have to make, daily, in unbelievably high pressure situations.

Amazing result for us in Leicester. Many thanks to all the @Conservatives who went and helped there, notably @pritipatel. Labour haven’t done well enough overall, and in many places are doing worse than under Jeremy Corbyn.

The Conservatives committed a massive act of self harm when the Parliamentary Party removed Boris Johnson, initiating internal chaos which was compounded by ignoring the members. In amongst all that, the Parliamentary Party lost track of what conservatism is 🤦‍♂️ Time they changed.

If the PM wants to win back lost Conservative voters he should try offering some Conservative policies. Cut taxes, get better value for state spending and go for growth.
