@Cmdr_Hadfield Thanks for sharing, I still think this is the most amazing photograph and one brave astronaut!
English

@theJeremyVine @NickyAACampbell @GaryLineker @Rylan @AndyPlumb4 It’s disgraceful these people think they can getaway with this. I know you shouldn’t have to but can’t you guys use your public platform to name/shame them then follow up with legal action?
English

Among many people tweeting lies about me, @NickyAACampbell, @GaryLineker and @Rylan yesterday was someone called @AndyPlumb4

@carolvorders @JohnnyMercerUK Having a degree doesn’t make you any better (or worse) than anybody else. What matters is how you apply yourself. Come on @carolvorders you are better than that type of intellectual snobbery

Plymouth Moor View predicted Labour win at GE 👏🏼
Gosh, what are arrogant Johnny Mercer @JohnnyMercerUK & his wife going to do for a joint income of £160,000+ plus enormous expenses?
Not a degree in sight in spite of expensive private education!
So who'd employ them?🤷🏼♀️

English

@EstherMcVey1 Unless of course they agree with your opinion. Time politicians opened their minds to the possibility they might actually be wrong. Too much towing the ‘party line’ makes you sound out of tune with much of the population

After the Covid witch hunts it’s now time for the Covid stitch ups.
The Covid inquiry was set up to look at lockdowns and to provide answers to the public, but what we're getting instead is a convenient blame game.

@johnredwood That’s a ridiculous, headline seeking thing to say when you look at the state of the UK, Conservative managed economy. Simply saying the EU has problems and glad we are not part of it does you no credit. You can’t ignore 13 years of Tory management of the economy.
English

@Jacob_Rees_Mogg So it was supposed to overlook what became increasingly obvious to the rest of us then? Sorry but I suspect the electorate will also disagree with your view. Nobody is suggesting Covid was easy to manage but a little remorse or saying sorry, got some things wrong would help
English

@MrHarryCole Big difference between what the associations think and what the general public think. Appealing to the associations is increasingly going to produce policies focused on an ever decreasing minority

Not worn a wetsuit since my triathlon days. Two weeks to go for @Great_Swim in Windermere … pleased to say I am same size (ish) as when I did my first London Tri!!

English

@LeeAndersonMP_ Are you suggesting the Tories don’t accept donations from people with their own vested interest or agenda? You’re all as bad as each other, best not treat voters as idiots, you might then get some credibility

"Every day that Labour takes money from Dale Vince another ambulance is delayed, a hospital appointment is missed, a grieving relative can't get to a funeral which proves this is a slap in the face to hardworking Brits trying to get on with their lives.

@_HenryBolton Stop making things up, seems like the rules are being scrapped at a manageable pace. Nothing could be done at the pace you want, maybe oversold it
English

@Conservatives Not seen anywhere they state the support unlimited anything. Stop making up this nonsense, be a little more circumspect and maybe people will give you another chance
English

@johnredwood Most people are more worried about mortgage repayments and the impact that has on their cost of living. Think BoE should consider that first, current policy not working, only adding to people’s problems
English

@THEJamesWhale Not wrong, but we do have this thing called freedom of speech which we should cherish and protect for all. On that basis I guess they are entitled to air their views in the same way we are?
English

@_HenryBolton And what makes you more qualified than others?
English

@GregHands @Conservatives @pritipatel You think this is a ‘good’ result? Get real, get out and listen (not talk) to people who deserted you with no preconceptions and a little humility. Nobody likes this bombastic rhetoric
English

Amazing result for us in Leicester.
Many thanks to all the @Conservatives who went and helped there, notably @pritipatel.
Labour haven’t done well enough overall, and in many places are doing worse than under Jeremy Corbyn.
Election Maps UK@ElectionMapsUK
Leicester Result #LE2023: LAB: 31 (-22) CON: 17 (+17) GRN: 3 (+3) LDM: 3 (+2) Labour HOLD.
English

@JohnnyMercerUK And this is why the country needs more people like you - perspective
English

@_HenryBolton Trouble is the ‘members’ are not representative of the population in general. Job 1 - go listen to those who deserted you (not Tory focus groups that tell you what you want to hear) with no preconceptions and a little humility
English

@johnredwood Hmmm… looks sensible when written in isolation, just missing the first task, go listen to those who deserted you (not focus groups who tell you what you want to hear) and listen carefully with no preconceptions and a little humility
English

@mercer_felicity Take no notice, wish your husband was our MP, one of the good guys, need more like him
