@MrDaveyWilliams Tiny reminder - those countries were invaded.

@RupertLowe10 A debate is certainly needed, but not with fists and firebombs

@tlloydjones So far Starmer has taken swift action to protect UK citizens. I support that. If he changes the law so that free speech isn't possible, I'll be against him. I don't think he will, though.
English

Do you remember when Keir Starmer stood on the steps of Downing Street and pledged to "step lightly" on our lives?
What an absolutely traitorous, empty, lying human being he turned out to be. #TwoTierKier #TwoTierBritain

@RealPeterClack Climate change is no hoax. It's real and needs action.
English

@latimeralder Climate change is a serious risk. It's sensible to reduce fossil fuel use by investments that are proportionate to the problem.
English

@PeterSweden7 Have you forgotten that we have elections here?
English

@toadmeister There was a serious COVID problem until the virus mutated and became less dangerous. There is a serious climate problem.
English

Are we all being 'nudged' to comply with alarmist Government responses to virus and climate 'emergencies', asks psychologist Dr Gary Sidley. The rise of the 'trusted messenger' ploy suggests we are. dailysceptic.org/2024/08/11/the…
English

@PeterSweden7 You don't elect the government in a totalitarian state. Forget that?
English

@TonyClimate @wef Global temperatures are rising, but it's not easy to predict local effects. That's why it's sensible to reduce fossil fuel use. Continued burning of fossil fuels is an irreversible experiment on our own children.
English

The @WEF spreading gross misinformation on the Internet. Everything about this article is complete nonsense.

@Martin_Durkin I agree that censoring 'fake news' is dangerous. On the other hand deliberately stoking a riot is even more dangerous. It's a fine line, that's why we need careful laws and a justice system.
English

@JVinos_Climate There are natural cycles on which fossil fuel warming is imposed.
English

Global warming is melting a Swiss mountain pass not seen since Roman times. 2,000 years ago, it was as hot or hotter than today, with just over half as much CO₂. The supposed effect of CO₂ on temperature doesn't add up.

@ChrisMartzWX We need to make steady progress towards reducing fossil fuel use as technology improves.
English

@ChrisMartzWX I'm not a climate activist. It's sensible to reduce fossil fuel use. Getting to zero will be very hard, but every step on the way helps.
English

Hi there! 👋
If you're a climate activist and you think “fossil fuels are killing us,” then I suggest you stop:
📱 Using your phones and other electronic devices
📺 Watching television
💳 Using plastic money
🚿 Taking showers using indoor plumbing
🪥 Brushing your teeth
🚗 Driving your car / truck
🚄 Using high-speed rail
✈️ Flying commercial or by private jet to conferences or exotic vacation destinations
🛳️ Taking cruises to the Caribbean, Mediterranean or Alaska
🚲 Cycling
🛶 Kayaking
⛷️ Skiing
🛹 Skateboarding
👟 Wearing shoes
🏥 Admitting yourself to a hospital in the event of a medical emergency or using medical equipment
💊 Taking medication
🎨 Painting
🖍️ Coloring pictures
🏈 Playing sports
💄 Wearing lipstick or gloss
💅 Painting your nails
🍳 Using a stove or microwave to cook your food
🕯️ Blowing out candles on your birthday cake
🛞 Using tires
🗑️ Using plastic trash bags
👓 Wearing eyewear
☔️ Using umbrellas
🎲 Playing board games
🎧 Streaming music
📻 Using communication systems
👖 Wearing clothing
🔦 Using flashlights
🌽 Grocery shopping
🍔 Dining out
🔌 Using electricity in any way, shape or form to power your home, appliances or electronic devices
because all these products and activities are brought to you by coal, oil and natural gas.
Instead, my challenge for you is to go live off-grid in central Alaska for one week. No clothing. No store-bought food. No electronics. No communications to the civilized world. You must hunt for food by hand or eat plants and bugs. You must get your clothing from animal hide. You must build a shelter from wood or sod by hand. You can have no first aid kits or medical assistance. And, you may only burn bear poo for heat and fuel.
Good luck!
Because that would be your net zero world.

English

@ShantzShantz @MaineUltraMaga @wideawake_media No one is talking of less CO2. It's necessary to limit how much it increases, that's all.
English

@JohnShoe22 @MaineUltraMaga @wideawake_media CO2 makes an even more significant difference to LIFE on this planet.
More CO2 more plants, more food more trees.
Less CO2 Death.
English

@toadmeister Other countries are making progress, including China. Like our progress it's slow, but it's generally in the right direction
English

Britain is leading the world on Net Zero, but no one is following, says Jeremy Warner. In China and the developing world Net Zero targets appear to mean nothing at all beyond their usefulness in undermining the West. dailysceptic.org/2024/08/09/bri…
English

@TonyClimate @BBCNews The BBC did not predict that. They simply reported a prediction by a US group. That's their job.
English

On December 12, 2007 @BBCNews said the Arctic would be ice-free by 2013. There has been no correction, retraction or mea culpa
