@Fancricket12 No. Narine can Open with Allen. But for that Rahane will have to be demoted which he won’t do. That is why Narine is wasted due to Rahane.

Good that KKR ended up playing one out of Allen/Seifert. Narine is a useful candidate to bat at the top of the order. But v certain pace attacks, comprising HTD pacers, not sure of him playing at that slot. Allen's breezy innings helped Rahane.

Don't let his score today fool you. He is not playing for the team and to improve the NRR, where he could have easily attacked and improved NRR. He is just playing for his runs and doesn't care about whether KKR qualifies or not!
