Part of the reason Superman ‘25 doesn’t work for in comparison to Raimi’s Spiderman movies is that it comes off as a cynical man putting on a fake hopeful face. “Kindness is the new punk rock” doesn’t mean anything, It’s a marketable catchphrase.
