@Boundary_Parked Gregan was God! In his prime he was a monster of a central midfielder, the type of player we are screaming for now. He was so good when he dropped into defence. #oafc

I love Monthe but he is a standard lower league defender. He makes many of the same errors as Daniels which seems to get ignored, I think coz he is physically one of the strongest, most imposing players in the league. Clarke & especially Gregan were levels above. #oafc

It’s getting abit silly how good monthe is. Throwing it out there but he’s class above gregan and Clarke. I genuinely think he’s the best CB I’ve seen at Oldham #oafc

@fubarlatics Without being a stat knob.. the amount of touches Woods had vs Payne in the same midfield was criminal. Why did it take so long to bench him. I would rather have old experienced legs than shit ones. Look after your own! #oafc

@John_Mac76 100% id rather have any player in the middle who is struggling (or boots on wrong feet - Petts words 🤣) than someone who’s invisible. Not sure what’s happened with Payne. Fell off a cliff. Hopefully he can rediscover himself. Woods been excellent since he came back in as well
