Who was the idiot who designed this draw for the new format of the Bunge championship at @curlmanitoba? There are 4 teams who won their first game today and are playing their 3rd game of the day. What a way to kick off the opening day of this new format @curlmanitoba

@fasselin94 Update on new MB playdowns format. One team won their first game and now has to play in their 3rd game of the opening day. Another team lost their first game and only played the 1 game. Make that make sense.

@MikeFournier71 @fasselin94 also you have teams that win a game on the A side having to play back to back. Not what you want when you win a game. In the B & C events of course but not the A event. Poor decision changing it by CurlMB.

@cullenoncurling I had a thought before this announcement that Brad Jacobs and Ryan Harnden move back to NONT and join the Horgan bros. that is if Benny and Kennedy decide to call it a career. Brendan move to AB and play with Gallant, Tardi and Geoff.

I’d have to think that if Jake and Tanner are leaving Epping together, that’s for a team-up with Brendan Bottcher. Fourth player is Geoff? I thought they might leave as singles (ie. Jake to Dunstone’s vacancy) but the announcement makes it sound like they’re remaining a pair

@BenLypka I was talking about the Stars coach. No need for them to be hanging around to watch Abby celebrate. Of course the Canucks salute the crowd. Sold out arena and those fans were UNREAL!!! Ohh for sure. Also Sasson got up right away and the ref didn’t have a great angle on it.

@JohnnyBender66 I know they want to do their salute to the fans but when things are that heated maybe reconsider. That hit was definitely high but they won't be making that call at that point in a 1-0 playoff game

@BenLypka Agree. Things might have started with the hit on Sasson that looked like it might have been high. Also the coach needed to get his players down the tunnel. Game was over. Keeping them around would have fuelled the fire more.
