This is basically one, really expensive, shiny button you push for that price premium which is Ray Tracing. It's the first thing gamers turn off and for some reason Nvidia convinced gamers, reviewers, and AMD they need it.

After seeing these prices I've made a decision as an RTX 4090 owner & NVIDIA customer for more than 10 years. I know that perf wise RTX 6090 will be worth upgrading to. If it's priced lower than RTX 5090 then I'll buy it, otherwise I'll buy the fastest UDNA GPU. Enough is enough.

@tomshardware Over here in the Netherlands, stores like Azerty and Alternate are pricefixing. One of them sits on a stock of 600 units and they're keeping the price at 629EUR. They do not even moving fast enough anymore, but they're just in it to rip people off and play scalper.
