The hydro flask she had may have been shoplifted as well. They received a one year ban at the grocery chain (not sure how you are enforcing that). That’s it. No other penalty. That must have been a quiet ride home. She threw her friend under the bus rather quickly. What if your friend did that to you ? Would you still be friends with her?

I never say this but this is a must watch. This is such a sad and complicated story. Richard Russell "Beebo" was a man at his end. I wish I knew why.
