Our lovely Reception class had a very exciting visit this week! The firefighters came and showed them all around the fire engine. They even got to have a go at the hose! 🕊 Thank you @manchesterfire @FireBolton

Year 2 have been completing their ‘100 things to do before you leave Johnson Fold.’ They have been looking under a big rock in the forest and have been searching for shapes in the clouds 🕊

Reception have been busy learning all about autumn. They have created autumn collages, read stories and made apple crumble 🕊

Year 3 have been practising brush strokes in the style of Claude Monet in preparation for their final painting piece in art 🕊

Year 5 have been extremely busy exploring the forest and looking at Henri Matisse in art 🕊

Year 2 have been very busy partitioning numbers in maths, using adjectives in writing and learning about Vincent Van Gogh in art 🕊

Reception have been busy looking after chicks! They fed them, gave them water and even did some observational drawings as they changed 🕊

Year 2 have had a busy week! They have been learning to tell the tjme, practising their tennis skills and sorting animals into their habitats 🕊

Year 3 have had a very busy week! They have had a talk from the dentist, visited the forest and went to YR to see the chicks 🕊

Year 3 had a fabulous trip to Blackpool! They had a great time visiting The RNLI and The Sealife Centre 🕊
