@deadeyebrakeman I’ve appreciated the lie for years. Even if I accidentally caught them in the lie, I’d still be like thanks for trying

one of my most deeply held beliefs is that crafting a precise and plausible lie actually demonstrates care and thoughtfulness. I value this friendship enough to do some creative writing

white lies are truly the backbone of society. "I have an early morning" "I have to wait for the plumber to come" "dang! just got hit with some work stuff". Thus is the glue that prevents us from descending into the purge
