How I got 1 million followers on Instagram… 1) Never pay for followers… If you do your community isn’t genuinely connected to your content. It’s taken me 4 years to hit 1 million followers and it’s been fun hard work. But our engagement is through the roof and we have 1 million people that are a part of a genuine community. 2) Don’t make it about you. Make your content about something much bigger than yourself. Have a mission, have a purpose. Help people. 3) Get your followers involved. Build a community not a fan base. Allow your followers to actually take part in your content and your mission. Rather than just being spectators. Hitting 1 million followers isn’t about me at all. It’s about 1 million people wanting to make complete strangers dreams come true every day. All 1 million people who have followed me have supported at least one person in making their dream come true. While this may sound cliché… Helping the hundreds of people we have wouldn’t be possible without every single one of you that supports me every day. Give Without Take is the way to live and our community only grows stronger every day. Thank you so much for your support and let’s continue to change the world as a team! ❤️ Ps. If all 1 million people #take4 minutes every day to help someone… Together we will Free Humanity! 👊

The defence mounted by Mr Drakeford over his farming policy in Wales makes no sense. Like him, I’m not a farmer but I try to learn about it by listening to people who are. He should do the same.

I’m getting worried… AI is becoming a real problem. And we are not preparing. People are still going to university to study for jobs that will be obsolete in 10 years. I think AI has the potential to save the world if we use it right… But with the lack of readiness it can do the complete opposite. We need to start preparing before it’s too late.

@simonsquibb The name of my podcast would be called iced on, and it’s talking about the challenges that we go through life to stop us from being who we are when things kicking like mental health family members pass on, and we talk about our personal journey to get to be where we are

It’s not give-and-take as we have been taught that makes us happy. To be happy as a community it should be “give-without-take!” ❤️

Great work! @simonsquibb everyone has stories to tell, you have gone from been given that £5 on the street to passing it forward many times over! People never give up on your dreams and believe in yourselves 💪
Simon Squibb@simonsquibb

We just gave £5k to two entrepreneurs to help them, tag who should be next?! If you want to know how this happened, you are welcome to read the full story below or just comment x tag who should be next 🦾 The story; first up - I lied to you all. I made £10,104 in one day on Monday from helping people. I have said for the last 4 years I have never charged anyone for help. This was true until Monday. On Monday that all changed. I was expecting everyone to come at me about it but it seems nobody noticed.... Even when a stranger James Ski someone I met on a TikTok live, offered me £10,000 to help him, I instead try to help him for free and refused the £10k. Funny as I now consider him a friend. #GiveWithoutTake is powerful. Anyway, back to the lie. On Monday I charged 500 people for a ticket to my event at BOXPARK on Monday and this ticket fee was for knowledge (help!) from some of the most successful social media folks in the UK. However, and I think this is important, we took this ticket sales revenue and the sponsorship money of £5,000 from Tide which equalled £10,104 profit (after costs) and gave to 2 entreprenuers!! The remaining £104 profit we paid for someone at the event who got stranded for a hotel room at the Premier Inn nearby. In conclusion, the community paid to fund 2 dreamers and learn stuff that day! I also managed to keep my true mission in tack… However, from 2024 I will stop saying I will not charge people for help and start saying we are a for profit business that does good with our profit. Sometimes we will sell you things that help you in life, like events, clothing and even sweets! We will then use this profit to help people help people from platforms like HelpBnk to events like the one on Monday. I think this is the future of business. Not charging for help on a personal level has meant a lot, but I want to do more than help in 2024. I want to fund dreams, promote dreamers and lead the way in building a new type of business model. BUT I’ll still never charge you a course fee, and there will always be free help available ❤️ Let’s help each other help each other and ensure a big 2024! 👍🏼

I broke the law. Twice! How? I took my son out of school to buy a staircase in twickenham at a property auction back June. I took my son out of school again yesterday to help turn on the Christmas lights in twickenham. Yep that’s breaking the law! Madness really. We have now helped 32,612 people so far via the staircase and the Helpbnk platform. I think that justifies breaking the stupid rules. Plus I would argue my son has learned more in these two days about how the world works than school can ever provide. The education system needs an update but for now I am just celebrating breaking the rules for a purpose!
