Some of our customers have been impacted by a bug in our scheduled reactivation and offboarding code. For those affected, we're working on reversing that and restoring your account to normal, and will be in touch in due course.

We had some downtime over the weekend caused by a problem with our domain renewal. This was fixed at 7pm UTC on Sunday 12th March. Most customers should not experience any problems today, but if you have any trouble connecting the Charlie website this morning you can... [1/2]

@marky_uk Hi Marky, thanks for your tweet. It's an expired cert caused by a DNS error - charliehr.com is resolving to http://80.82.116.60 ("This domain name has expired") but due to HSTS it goes to https://80.82.116.60 and that's where the expired cert error comes in 1/2

@JoinCharlie the lack of contact/info except via twitter, no notice on website front page, and no email to users looks poor, plus as an IT manager with 200+ users who need CharlieHR today to close their 6 monthly reviews, the workaround for 200+ remote workers is not viable for us

@JenniferWlodyka Hi Jennifer, sorry to hear you're still affected by the issue. Did you try the public DNS instructions? If one didn't work for you, try the other one - the steps are the same, just the DNS server IP is different (8.8.8.8 vs 1.1.1.1). Let us know how you get on.

@harrygthompson @Gateley Thanks for letting us know. You can try a local DNS flush but most likely the problem is with your DNS provider's cache rather than yours. I've shared some advice on setting up Google or Cloudflare DNS which has worked for me when my ISP's DNS let me down: twitter.com/JoinCharlie/st…
