@JoinenTV This is the Eustachian tube connecting the nasopharynx to the middle ear. It equalizes pressure with the outside atmosphere and it only opens, when you swallow. If there is a small amount of secretion in your ear (tickle) it is drained through the tube when you swallow :-)
