He may have missed or sat out the summer of love but I first got tuned on to @BillAckman politically when he did his first long form tweet on the Kyle Rittenhouse Trial (direct result of SOL) and how the testimony was so different than everything he was told on tv. He used an interesting analogy where he said he was used to reading the pages of the Wall Street Journal where he was either an insider or knew the key players on major deals, and remembering how ridiculous the reporting/commentary was, but then he turned the page to a subject where he was no longer a subject matter expert/insider and he simply assumed it was right… where he should have always just assumed it was the same nonsense as what he read on the subjects he intimately knew. He’s been waking up for a while. If I recall correctly, the New York Times called him to see if someone hacked his Twitter account for stating some very obvious things. If only others in similar positions could be as intellectually honest.
