@sophierodger_ Hi Sophie - apologies, I can’t seem to see your submission in my emails (nor my spam). I received 300+ submissions so I’m afraid notes were only supplied to some of the script I’m moving forward with pitching to the team.

@JonAddison_ Hi Jon, thanks for letting me know. I didn't receive an email and double checked (for my own peace of mind!)and the pilot was sent before midnight. Just for my records, were any notes given for the entries or only notification if the script was going to the 'next round'? Thanks

@ReelJordiSteel Hi Jordi. Good question. That has an impact on the 'power of the pitch', but if the story blows me out the water, the IP / true story can't be ignored, and or there's significant competition success attached to the project, then it doesn't matter - I'm for sure interested!

@WriterHBlack I work for Pathe, though submissions will be independently received and submitted to the team by myself. For legal reasons Pathe do not accept unsolicited scripts. This is my own external work that I'll put forward to Pathe, should the 'right' projects / people come my way.

@ImChrisWoodley If the story catches my eye - I'm in! But to be fair, you are very right about companies staying distant from period drama right now.

@JonAddison_ Hi Jon! Would you be open to reading a pilot set in 1990's? 😊 That is 'period drama' by some people standards.😂 I know how some companies feel about that. But my project is semi- autobiographical and defo touches on key issues in the UK.x

@JonAddison_ Hey Jon. I'm based in the US but the industry is dead over here. I have two pilots that I have a deep personal connection to, one is based on true events and one is partially set in Europe.

@Philip_Lawrence Slate relatively new (established in film prior to TV), so open to anything but prefer: based on true stories, writer with connection to story / expert in area, impactful themes that touch on key issues in the UK. Also, keen to find a love story if the right one is out there.

I'm not gonna share those disgusting racist tweets, but I'm gonna state that Francesca is a gorgeous human being - both inside and out. I can't wait to see her in @JamieLloydCo 's Romeo & Juliet and fucking eat it up it like I know she can. The people that know, KNOW.
