Today in the Judiciary committee I will argue that medical doctors in our State cannot continue to have their fees reduced by insurance companies and can no longer wait hours on the phone trying to get “pre-approval” for patient treatment. We are losing our best and brightest
Some banks in New Jersey will give their long time customers a very low interest rate on their money market and NEW CUSTOMER MONEY a high interest rate. Very poor treatment of their loyal customers. Friendly talk but unfriendly treatment
Voters want to know that you will stand up against your own party if necessary. When people voted for you they did not ask you to abandon your judgement or common sense.
In the Commerce Committee I was very pleased to support a bill to prohibit “cost sharing” for prostate screening. Hopefully this will encourage testing.
The plan to terminate “Christmas tree” giveaways on the final night of the budget appears to be done. Finally… Hopefully it will be gone forever. The costs to the taxpayer was a nightmare
Tomorrow is the new Governor’s budget address. I am starting to believe that her own party is not going to be thrilled with her “reality plan”. She has already acknowledged the structural debt and appears to ready to address it. 😳
I continue to hear advertisements for health insurance companies around the country. Stop all the ADS and simply stop the difficult “pre-approval” system and pay the bills. The system now is a nightmare for patients and medical professionals
Mean spirited rants by radio host Bill Spadea or hateful posts by Save New Jersey only makes it more difficult for Republicans to win future elections. The rants and posts may gain more followers but not more votes for our party
Yesterday I joined with retired Superior Court Judge Rivas to speak to a class at Rutgers. Judge Rivas was very clear that almost all jury verdicts are consistent with the evidence. I agree 100 percent. The jury system protects all of us. Never eliminate the jury system
