I love rugby league, and black people. I despise American exceptionalism. No longer an advocacy page. Life's just too damn short.

W.E.B. Du Bois coined the term “psychological wage of whiteness” to explain how poor white Americans were compensated with racial privilege rather than economic gain. This idea kept them loyal to a white supremacy system that oppressed blacks while they suffered in silence

Mali 🇲🇱 — A major information is currently circulating: Yann Vézilier, presented as a French officer linked to the General Directorate of Foreign Security (DGSE), has reportedly been detained in Mali for eight months now. Arrested on August 14, 2025 along with a dozen Malian soldiers, he is accused of involvement in a suspected conspiracy to overthrow the transitional authorities. According to some sources, he could soon be presented on national television to speak out about the facts he is accused of, his potential accomplices, and the circumstances of the case. In this context, the Malian authorities seem to take a stricter approach: anyone suspected of breach of national sovereignty could be brought to explain himself publicly before justice takes its course. A development that, for some, marks a turning point in the management of security business in Mali. ✍🏽

This is what a Kumina celebration in Jamaica 🇯🇲 looks like… purely African, similar to the Kpalogo or Borborbo of the Ga/Dangme people of Ghana 🇬🇭.

He killed five child molesters in prison with a borrowed cane. Then wrote a letter - and promised to keep going. Jonathan Watson, who renamed himself Caesar Augustus, was serving a life sentence for strangling his sister's rap*st to de*th at Corcoran State Prison. In January 2020, officials moved him into a dorm with convicted child sex offenders. He warned a counselor:"Transfer me before I really f** one of these dudes up."Dismissed. One molester put on PBS Kids."I picked up the cane and went to work." On his way to turn himself in, he passed a child trafficker."In for a penny, in for a pound." David Bobb, 48, and Graham De Luis-Conti, 62 both convicted of assaulting children under 14- were dead within days. Watson wrote to the press, calm and unapologetic:"I'll do it for every child they destroyed."

Thousands in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 took to the streets to protest the European Union’s interference in Niger’s 🇳🇪 affairs and the broader Alliance of Sahel States. Demonstrators expressed strong anger at Europe’s push for regime change in Niger, viewing it as an attempt to control the region for its own interests.

General William Westmoreland, the American commander in Vietnam, said that Asians do not value human life the way Westerners do. He said this to explain why Vietnamese soldiers kept fighting despite losses that would have broken Western armies. He did not say: perhaps they are fighting for something worth dying for. He did not say: perhaps our intelligence about their will to fight was wrong. He did not say: perhaps we have fundamentally misunderstood this enemy. He said: they don't value life. This is what happens when an army built on the premise of its own civilizational superiority meets a people who simply refuse to accept that premise. The army cannot update its model. It cannot say "we were wrong about who these people are." So it invents a theory where the enemy's resistance is not a sign of strength but a sign of deficiency. They keep fighting because life is cheap to them. Not because their cause is just. Not because they are brave. Because they are less than us. Westmoreland ran the war for years on this theory. He lost. The Vietnamese people, who apparently did not value life, built a country that is alive and growing and free. Westmoreland died in 2005. The people he could not understand are still here. So is the theory.

1. Trump never knew Vince Lombardi. 2. Vince Lombardi was not a violent person. 3. Contrary to public perception, Lombardi was a master motivator who treated every player differently. He knew which buttons to push, and what to avoid.

Trump: "I find that people that win, it's much easier to lead when you're successful. Vince Lombardi was a very tough person. He was a violent guy, actually. I knew him. But he won and he got away with things because he won."

Oh. Lombardi also: —Made sure his Black players were given time to go to Milwaukee where there were people who knew how to cut their hair. —Told anybody who would listen that homophobia had absolutely no place in any building he ran (his brother Harold was gay). —Hated all forms of prejudice because he had experienced so much of it himself. —Was a Kennedy Democrat who sloughed off Nixon’s potential interest in him as a running mate. Lombardi would have HATED Donald Trump.

Ancient Egyptians were black but their mummies got replaced. Per centuries of eyewitnesses, Ancient Egyptians were black with wooly, kinky, curly hair. Yet we see light straight-haired royal mummies; what accounts for this discrepancy? The 500-year mummy trade and the European superstition that eating a mummy would transfer its essence and greatness to the consumer of it. No doubt, royal mummies sold for high prices, and they were simply replaced by Greek corpses. The thieves never thought they would be unwrapped and their theft discovered, or perhaps it was their way of rewriting history to support a supremacy fantasy. The whole discipline of Egyptology was born out of this, which has pushed convoluted Eurocentric narratives about Africa. This was a disturbing, grotesque, and disrespectful trade. It is estimated millions of mummies were sold during this disgusting 500-year trade.

Marla Hanson was 24 when her former landlord hired two men to attack her with razor blades after a rent dispute and rejected romantic advances. They slashed her face, leaving permanent scars that ended her modeling career. During the trial, she refused to hide and appeared in court without makeup: “I wanted people to see what they had done.” All three men were convicted, and she later became a victims rights advocate.
