Best choice I ever made was taking a break from hosting spaces everyday for hours Why? - It’s not a founders job to host spaces everyday, it’s the communities. Founders build and manage the business - Getting a lot more tasks completed for IRL and Web3 businesses - Building a lot more cool shit for Moonsters and crypto space - More time to work on my self and my health I’ve realized MOST the people / projects hosting and sitting in spaces all day everyday aren’t doing anything productive, aren’t building anything useful, are allergic to actual work, aren’t doing shit besides talking about fake hype while hoping and preying on lonely people that join their space to be their future exit liquidity. They hope to attract vulnerable people who are easily manipulated, provide them with feel a false sense of security so they become community members or holders but eventually that false sense of community or hype, the lack of real useful utility and real non-extractive revenue all dies out. The project usually dies out or WAIT EVEN BETTER… the founders come up with another scam such as new paid NFT collections (usually more trash “art”) with “exclusive” discounts for current holders to go along with their current collection that already sucks so they can raise more money to prolong the soon to come failure of their fake company or they launch a token or pretend like they’re promoting it and aren’t the creators then fuck everyone. I’ve seen this same playbook repeat its self many times over the years I’ve been in the space. Don’t believe me just watch 🫵😂 Some will be mad at this post cause they know they’re the predator I’m talking about or because they just realized they’ve been the prey Others will be appreciative cause now they’ll be able to see phony bums more clearly Nothing against community members who host spaces that ACTUALLY PROVIDE VALUE or just community members who want to hang out with one another But the founder / teams job is to build and manage the business How tf are they gonna build anything useful if they’re jerking off in spaces all day talking about nothing Stop giving losers your money, especially for trash art that has no opportunity to ever build a real ip and leaders that don’t have any real business experience Hate me or love me idc ill always keep it real regardless if the truth hurts or not MOT 🌚
