Season 2 being about heroes (teen titans stage, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Aquaman and possibly Green Lantern) Makes sense since season 1 was villains

People hoping Multiversus gets shut down is wild. If you look at the 24 hour peak (just on steam) it is still one of the highest played fighting games. It is also doing better than Mortal Kombat and Suicide Squad at this moment so it is the best performing Warner Bros game online. Like it or not if Suicide Squad can get several more seasons with how badly it performed (sorry) Multiversus will be around for a while. We should be cheering the game on even if you don’t like its current state. Three months ago we all wanted this game to be huge, so why are we not supporting the devs, giving CONSTRUCTIVE criticism (“I hope this game dies” or “this game sucks now” believe it or not is not constructive criticism, and trying to help the game succeed? Yes, you can play what you want. Yes you don’t have to like the game. Of course. That’s your freedom and your opinion, but if you really wanted the game to succeed and do better shouldn’t you be hoping it survived and improves over time instead of just throwing your hands up and saying it’s over? For me Multiversus is a dream game. A constantly evolving platform fighter. Getting new content over time. New characters, new stages, new modes. Thinking about the future of the game and what it could look like a year from now or five years from now is crazy to me. It gets me so pumped thinking about how many options we could end up seeing. You don’t have to like the game in its current state. I personally have fun, but understand why others may not. But please be more kind to the devs. It’s a team of less than 100, and while not super small, they aren’t huge and they are working on a huge project and learning as they go along. This game is not set in stone in its current state. It is always going to be changing and we can help the devs get the game to the state we want to see it in. Believe in the future of it. Changes don’t happen over night for a lot we have been talking about. We are close to season 2, and I’m sure the devs have many surprises for us, along with tweaking things and making the game better throughout the season. I can’t wait to see what is in store for :)
