@jajuarez @TheQuartering Well to push back a bit on the rough eras argument this was 2006 when Kobe got his 81. Dwyane Wade won the title in 2006 in wha many people believe was soft because of how many free throws he took during that finals run.

@JonPatterson8 @TheQuartering Wilt and Kobe had these free throw counts in a very physical era. Kobe himself would’ve been over 100 easily if he pulled off what he did in today’s era. This is why this 83 to me feels so disingenuous to how difficult it was to achieve those numbers even 20 years ago.

I understand. By the time the Natty came around both of our fanbases were already full blown feral. I chop it up with a few Miami fans and ND fans who are cool. I do enjoy the banter, too. I’ll admit that I even take it too far sometimes. Most Hoosiers have a lot of respect for Miami and that part was missed, because of the vitriol. That’s where the Mendoza’s are from. Most of us would run through a wall for that family.
