@Bill_Sutherland Very sad news. There was never a dull moment when Simon was around.

Shocking news about Simon Leather who taught me when I was an undergraduate and he was a PhD student. He has since enthusiastically taught an army of ecologists and entomologists. I always enjoyed our innumerable discussion about ecology, science, politics and life. RIP.
