🏀 My 4 ½-year-old daughter’s Final Four. Had some bold picks throughout the bracket, including: » Sweet 16 runs by Troy and Georgia because she has a classmate and tee-ball teammate with those names, respectively. » TCU over Ohio State in the first round because “I like purple.” S/O to Horned Frogs alum @JFoch » UMBC (or Howard) does it again! No. 1 seed Michigan goes down. Sorry, @RobTate24. » Queens with a magical run to the Sweet 16. That one seems self-explanatory. » Houston (where we live) and Arizona (where Mimi and Gampy live) make the Final Four. » St. John’s wins the national championship because they are the “Johnnies” and Dad’s name is Jon.

There are 22 different teams in the March Madness field with at least one former Houston area high school basketball player on their roster. See who's representing the 713 in the NCAA tournament. houstonchronicle.com/sports/college…

Nice! Where about? I grew up in Raytown. My personal top two spots are probably Joe’s and Gates. But i think LC’s and Big T’s on Blue Parkway have the best burnt ends in the city! You really can’t go wrong. Q39 is newer but very good. Of course the old classics like Arthur Bryant’s and Jack Stack. Slap’s is an underrated gem.

🔥 Random Sunday question: Which Houston-area high school coach throws down on the grill/smoker the hardest? Haha
