@DarrinKnowles1 My dad’s records were destroyed in this fire. Fortunately, my mom saved his paperwork. Even though it was a drop in the bucket, they were thrilled to receive copies. With them, I was able to have his medals reissued, one of which was the bronze star, issued retroactively in 1948.

@dmcallister26 @tsgrumbling I’m a true fan Deuce. My Grandmother lived in the neighborhood behind Morton High football field. My Brother and I used to sneak through the fence and watch you play when we visited her. When you committed to Ole Miss, we went crazy. Hold it down Bro, you’re a baller!

Nike PR staff: “We asked him to put on the spikes and show us some tricks. The very first thing he showed us was that famous scene of hitting the crossbar multiple times in a row. All we could say was, ‘Ronnie. Thank you. The commercial shoot is already over.’

Without Googling, name One famous historic battle:😉
English

🇮🇹🗣️ Gianluigi Buffon: "For 20 years we've been ashamed of who we are.
For 20 years, I’ve felt like we have to play like Spain—we’ve abandoned our history. And because of that, talent has disappeared. Players like Ciro Ferrara, Fabio Cannavaro... today we’d be embarrassed to put them on the pitch! Chiellini wouldn’t play today because he doesn’t play line-breaking passes! You watch Barcelona and pay for a ticket, but thinking we can play with a high line in midfield for ninety minutes..."
"Italy’s historic matches were built on defending to the death, on team containment, on the cohesion of the result. Now it seems like we’re uncomfortable with that—otherwise, we won’t be accepted into football's high society. I want to go out there to try and win, and there’s no shame in doing it with your own strengths."
