🚨 NFT supply increased due to whitelist bug → New supply: 1669 Why? Some users were told via DM that they had won GTD whitelist but in our internal tracker they had actually been marked as FCFS To solve this problem, we decided to honor them with extra GTD whitelists What happened? When we were assigning the last FCFS whitelists, Javi told me: Assign 700 more FCFS whitelists and DM them: “Congrats, you won GTD whitelist! ...” Did you see the error? > Internally: assigned as FCFS > In DMs: communicated as GTD That was our mistake. We’ve now fixed it and added measures to prevent this happening again Decision. Once we identified the issue, we had two options: 1. Remove GTD whitelists from the affected users 2. Increase the collection supply and honor the GTD whitelists they were told they had received Both options had tradeoffs, but we chose to increase supply in order to prioritize user experience and keep trust with affected users Later today, we’ll publish a Google Sheet with all whitelisted wallets so everyone can verify eligibility directly
